Robert Bosch Tool Corporation Bosch intends to increase their investment in chip production and expand the chip factories in Dreseden and Reutlingen as part of their overall plan to help allay the world-wide shortage of chips. Stanley Black & Decker SB&D expects the DIY boom that was fueled by people staying home during the pandemic to continue for at least the next few years, according to CFO Don Allan. The company thinks that the reconnection with the home will continue, and that improvements will also be fueled by the emerging trend to hybrid offices, which ensures that many people will continue working out of their homes for the foreseeable future. SB&D was named to the Forbes World’s Top Female-Friendly Companies, a list based on a survey of 85,000 female employees from 300 global companies.
